This site will occasionally utilize clinical scenarios for teaching purposes.   Said scenarios should also not be considered a factual re-telling of actual events. It's a blend of reality and my own personal creative liberty.  All patient details are changed to make identifying them impossible, far exceeding the minimum standards for de-identification of patient information. Terms and Rules of Engagement

Comments are moderated, so yours may take awhile to appear. Commenting is provided as a courtesy only. I do not edit comments, only delete those breaking the commenting rules. Following are the guidelines but in the end my judgement is subjective.

Comments using profanity, that violate the Vanderbilt credo or any VU policy automatically get deleted. I have a very low threshold of what constitutes any of the above.
